Be sure to visit Penn State’s exhibit at this year’s Farm Show, January 5 through 12. The exhibit will highlight Penn State research and activities on a variety of nutrient-related topics ranging from the role of wetlands in nutrient reduction to on-lot sewage systems, poultry waste management, airborne nutrients and atmospheric deposition, odor management, and soil testing.

The exhibit and activities will visually demonstrate the cycle and movement of nutrients from soil to crop, from feed to livestock, and from farm to environment. It will also feature Penn State’s work on addressing the challenges and creating opportunities for better management of nutrients as a resource so that they do not become environmental pollutants.
